Last night saw Downtown in Business Birmingham host their annual City of Birmingham Business Awards 2022, where Cordia Blackswan was nominated for Property Firm of the Year 2022. The event saw hundreds gather at The Park Regis Hotel to celebrate Birmingham’s entrepreneurs and the city’s thriving businesses.
Spanning the hospitality industry, the city’s creative quarters and Birmingham’s expansive property sector, the awards celebrated the quality of business throughout the entire city.
Cordia Blackswan was awarded Property Firm of the Year 2022 at the event, with nominations including Centrick Property, Elevate Property Group and Greenvilla Homes, to name a few.
With the nearing completion of The Gothic and the ongoing regeneration of Great Hampton Street, this award recognises the unwavering dedication of the Cordia Blackswan team and the business’ admirable vision, which aims to transform an unsaturated area of the city.
Marcus Hawley, managing director at Cordia Blackswan has commented: ‘It’s always a pleasure to attend these events and to celebrate local businesses across the city, especially because the team at Cordia Blackswan live and breathe Birmingham.
‘I am thrilled that this hard work has been recognised and that the entire team has been rewarded, which only motivates us more to deliver our ambition vision – to regenerate unutilised areas of Birmingham, whilst providing safe, comfortable homes for its residents.’
Cordia Blackswan has also been nominated for several awards at the Insider Midlands Residential Property Awards 2022. The Gothic has been shortlisted for Apartment Development of the Year and Small Residential Development of the Year, while the company could be awarded Urban and City Living Developer of the Year. The wider Great Hampton Street regeneration scheme has also been shortlisted for Place-making Project of the Year.
