Cordia Blackswan is proud to announce that the company has been shortlisted for ‘Residential Developer of the Year’ at Insider’s West Midlands Property Awards 2022.
The nomination comes after being awarded ‘Property Firm of the Year’ at the annual City of Birmingham Business Awards 2022, and receiving ‘Apartment Development of the Year’ for The Gothic at Insider’s Residential Property Awards.
The event – which will celebrate both commercial and residential property industries – will see hundreds of professionals gather at the Hilton to bask in the success of the West Midlands property sector. Cordia Blackswan is up against some of the best residential property developers across the region, including Court Collaboration, Keepmoat Homes and Naismiths, to name a few.
Cordia Blackswan has big ambitions of transforming unutilised areas across the West Midlands (and beyond) into sustainable neighbourhoods, where residents can feel safe in their homes and proud of their surroundings. The Great Hampton Street Master Plan is an example of the company’s regenerative efforts, which aims to create a thriving hub of residential and commercial hotspots along the street – just a stone’s throw from the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
The Gothic is the first project in Cordia Blackswan’s growing master plan, and the mixed-use development recently reached completion after months of construction. The development spans three Grade II Listed and heritage buildings at 1-4 Great Hampton Street, occupying the former Gothic Inn, Quality Works factory and Goode’s House.
The unique development is just one of many projects in the Great Hampton Street Master Plan, and represents Cordia Blackswan’s dedication to the Jewellery Quarter, making this nomination so much more special.
Marcus Hawley, CEO of Cordia Blackswan, has commented: ‘My key ambition for Cordia Blackswan has always been – and always will be – to curate safe and sustainable homes across the West Midlands and beyond.
‘With so many projects in the pipeline, it’s great to be recognised for our efforts and nominated for Residential Developer of the Year.’
