Cordia UK is proud to announce that the company has been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Midlands Props Awards.
The Birmingham-based developer has been shortlisted for two awards: ‘Residential Developer of the Year’ for its Great Hampton Street masterplan and ‘Regeneration Project of the Year’ for its leading heritage redevelopment, The Gothic.
This is Cordia UK’s second year being recognised in the ‘Regeneration Project of the Year’ category after it was shortlisted for its innovative shared living scheme, Bradford Works, in 2022.
The awards recognise game-changing leaders in the Midlands real estate market and will bring together hundreds of property professionals at Birmingham’s Grand Hotel in April. Cordia Blackswan is up against some of the best developers in the region, including Court Collaboration, Prosperity Wealth, Trebor Developments and Woodbourne Group.
Cordia Blackswan’s ethos is focused on placemaking, with ambitions to transform the underutilised area of Great Hampton Street in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter into a sustainable neighbourhood for the community to live in, work in and enjoy. With seven projects located along the main road into the city, the Great Hampton Street masterplan is well underway to provide a mix of residential offerings.
Following the completion of its first phase, The Gothic opened its doors in September 2022. Situated at 1-4 Great Hampton Street, The Gothic spans three Grade II listed and heritage buildings and pays homage to its industrious roots with restored Victorian era features throughout.
